Class of 2025 Scholarship and Class of 2023 Scholarship – These scholarships, honoring the Class of 2023 and Class of 2025, will provide financial aid to Spiders every year, leaving a lasting legacy at the University.
Catherine Bell Scholarship – Established in 1971 in honor of Catherine Bell W'27, beloved longtime registrar of Westhampton College.
Steve Bisese Scholarship – Established by alumni, colleagues, and friends, this scholarship celebrates Dr. Bisese’s 29 years of service as area coordinator, Dean of Richmond College, and Vice President for Student Development (2006–2024). It honors his dedication to a thriving campus community and will benefit deserving Spiders for generations to come.
Debbie MacFarland Corrigan Memorial Scholarship – Established in 2002 in loving memory of Debbie MacFarland Corrigan, ’95, by her friends and family. Debbie studied psychology at Richmond and played lacrosse. She dreamed of being a teacher, which she did for a short time before she passed.
Frederick W. Boatwright Society Scholarship – For descendants of alumni who achieved academic success and participated in extracurricular activities in high school.
Dr. Tinina (Tina) Cade Scholarship – Established in 2022 in honor of Dr. Tina Cade, former associate vice president for student development and director of the Student Center for Equity and Inclusion, upon her retirement after 35 years of service at the University.
Dr. Ronald A. and Dr. Betty Neal Crutcher Scholarship – Established in 2020 in honor of the Crutchers' service to the University. Supports first-generation students with financial need.
Ellen J. Cunningham Scholarship – Established in 2017 by Doug Cunningham, R'71, in loving memory of his wife, Ellen J. Cunningham, W'72, for Westhampton College students.
Renee Elmore Memorial Scholarship – Established by the Class of 1993, as their senior class gift, in loving memory of Renee Elmore, a classmate who died in a car accident after her first semester.
Christopher G. Elvin Jr. Memorial Scholarship – This endowed scholarship was established in 2024 in loving memory of Christopher Elvin. Christopher was a member of the class of 2026 who died unexpectedly in March 2024 during his sophomore year at Richmond.
Michael Ice Memorial – Established in loving memory of Michael C. Ice, '11, by his family and friends following his tragic passing in 2012.
Jamie and Paige Malone Scholarship – Established in loving memory of Jamie Malone, '10, and Paige Malone, '12, by their family and friends following their tragic passing in 2010.
Brian K. Mear Memorial Scholarship – Established in 2024 in memory of Brian Mear, R’92. Brian majored in French and Theatre. He was a dedicated member of University Players, and a generous teacher and mentor to younger students while at Richmond.
Brent Urcheck Memorial Scholarship – Established in 2025 in memory of Brent Urcheck, ’98. Brent studied Business Administration, played on the Spider baseball team, and was a Sigma Chi Fraternity brother at Richmond. He is remembered by family and friends as a man of deep compassion, unwavering loyalty and sharp wit, who brought lightness and laughter everywhere he went.
